GETTING THE FAWN STUD TOY POODLE “DENIS” USED TO THE SLEEPER. :
Getting a fawn stud toy poodle like Denis used to using a sleeper can take patience, perseverance and a positive approach. Here are some useful tips to facilitate this process:
1. Choice of sleeper : Be sure to choose a sleeper that is appropriate for our poodle’s size. It must be large enough for him to turn and stretch comfortably.
2. Placement of the sleeper : Place the sleeper in a quiet and accessible place in the house, away from his sleeping area and meals. This helped Denis associate the sleeper with a space sufficiently separated from food and rest.
3. Using positive reinforcement : We rewarded and praised the red stud toy poodle Denis every time he used the sleeper correctly. The positive reinforcement will encourage him to repeat the desired behavior.
4. Patience and consistency : It is normal that it took the stud toy poodle Denis a long time to get used to using the sleeper. Be patient and consistent in your approach, avoiding punishing him if he makes mistakes.
5. Routine : Establish a routine for Denis, encouraging him to use the sleeper after meals, before bed and immediately after waking up.
6. Supervision : Until the poodle has completely mastered the use of the sleeper, supervise him closely and intercept any attempts to use other areas of the house such as the bathroom.
7. Cleaning : Initially, we kept the sleeper “dirty” so that stud toy poodle Denis would always remember what it was for …. once we understood with confidence the role of the sleeper and thus encouraged him to use it, then we proceeded to clean or change it whenever it was dirty.
8. Reduction of stimuli : We minimized stimuli that might make the fawn toy poodle Denis feel the need to urinate or defecate during the night, such as access to food or water just before bedtime.
Conclusion
With patience, consistency and a positive approach, Denis, our very intelligent fawn toy poodle has gradually learned to use the sleeper for his needs. Remember to congratulate him for every little success along the way and be patient during any difficulties .
